Senior .Net Developer, Dublin team (Option for GIS Developer)

(December 2018)

We seek an experienced and skilled Systems Developer to join our Dublin (Ireland) team and play a senior role in project design, delivery, team and client liaison.

Main required skills:

  • Full stack .Net interest and skills
  • C#, JavaScript, MVC or similar
  • Data management in SQL Server including SSIS, SSRS.
  • Azure. or interest in using Azure.
  • Xamarin mobile development, or interest in Xamarin.

For GIS developer position:

  • Esri ArcGIS Server development including ArcGIS JavaScript API.
  • Data management in ArcGIS Server / SQL Server.
  • Strong Python, R or similar.

Plus…

  • Strong teamwork and leadership experience.
  • Ordered and structured approach to work, documenting, with some experience in project management and delivery.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Qualification in  IT, or otherwise have excellent work experience in this area
  • At least 3 years relevant work experience, likely 5+.

Technical Business Analyst with Project Management, Dublin team

(December 2018)

We are carrying out a number of key projects through 2019 and beyond.  These are for major corporate clients where we design, build and support business critical solutions in the environment and natural resources, planning and heritage, and the important transportation sector.  We carry out this work from our Dublin office to Irish, British, South African client organisations.  Severn Trent Water, Teagasc, National Transport Authority, , South African Biodiversity Information Facility are just some of those clients.

  • Bring your strong liaison and relationship building skills to bear in solutions that matter.
  • Discover client requirements and form strong domain and business knowledge so we can build right for our clients.
  • Document using agile tools including user stories, and formulate sprint plans.
  • Manage delivery using clear project and team management approaches.

GIS Data Analyst (Esri ArcGIS, Python, SQL Server with strong domain knowledge) – Dublin team

(December 2018)

As we expand our work in environment and natural resources, planning and heritage, and the important transportation sector, we require a skilled GIS & data analyst.  Requires 3+ years but more likely 5+ – however strong core skills in GIS, SQL, Python plus a real sharpness is ultimately what we require.

Key skills:

  • Esri ArcGIS desktop
  • SQL and SQL Server
  • Python
  • Ability to develop excellent domain knowledge so we can liaise with and delivery data analysis that is appropriate adn of great value.

Systems Developer – .Net Intermediate / Senior Developer – Marine informatics team, Galway

(December 2018)

We seek an experienced and skilled Systems Developer to join our Galway marine informatics (Ireland) team – play an important part in design adn development of sites including atlas.marine.ie, www.digitalocean.ie.

Main required skills:

  • Full stack .Net skills
  • C#, JavaScript, MVC or similar
  • Data management in SQL Server.
  • Ability to learn Leaflet GIS API, graphing libraries, and other data stream handling elements.

In this role there are opportunities for interesting liaison with senior data analysts, users and scientists; exposure to data management best practice; and opportunity to develop additional technical skills particularly in data streaming, SQL, GIS, R and related areas.

Data Analyst – R, SQL, GIS  – Marine informatics team, Galway (9 month initial post)

(December 2018)

This is an opportunity for development and application of data analysis skills with modelling and report development to work with a range of scientific and environmental datasets to facilitate the development of intermediary and information products. The analyst will be focused on ensuring data are appropriately processed, stored and integrated.

The applicant will need strong knowledge and experience of manipulating data with R, Python, SQL or similar, with GIS expertise a plus.

In this role there are opportunities for interesting liaison with senior data analysts, users and scientists; exposure to data management best practice; and opportunity to develop additional technical skills particularly in SQL, GIS, R and related areas.

Terms:

  • 9 month initial contract,.
  • Be part of an exciting project that will develop new approaches and set standards.
