In a significant step towards harnessing the power of Earth Observation (EO) technology for sustainability, Compass Informatics is delighted to announce its participation in the UK Earth Observation Network for Sustainability (UK-EONS) Launch Event.
Taking place January 18th 2024 in Leeds, the event marks the official launch of UK-EONS, a pilot Connected Capabilities Network (CCN) initiative spearheaded by Space Hub Yorkshire, the Satellite Applications Catapult, and Guest of Honour, Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock MBE.
The UK-EONS CCN aims to unite key stakeholders from across the UK’s EO community, fostering collaboration and innovation in the application of EO technology to address pressing sustainability challenges.
Compass Informatics, recognised as a partner in the UK-EONS CCN, is particularly excited to share its expertise and insights on the practical implementation of EO solutions in various industries.
At the launch event, we will present an industry use case highlighting the transformative potential of EO technology in addressing environmental and sustainability concerns.
We will showcase how our geospatial intelligence solutions can empower businesses and organisations to make informed decisions, optimise resource management, and mitigate environmental impacts.
The UK-EONS launch event promises an informative and engaging day, where our very own Vivienne Kelly & Phil Baldacchino-Steward will be present.
We are excited to be a part of this groundbreaking initiative as together with industry counterparts, we can harness the power of EO technology to create a more sustainable future.
